WAL Printmaking Fundraiser

  Friday night fun  in Novembet……a Gyotaku and Gelli printmaking workshop.  Bring a bottle of wine or a goodie to share and join the fun.  We will be hosting a  print making class featuring  Goytaku, Japanese style fish printing, and gelli plates.

  Yes, we will have fresh caught fish for the adventurous ones to create with as well as rubber ones for those who don’t want to get stinky.  We will create beautiful sea life  rubbings and enjoy each other’s company while having fun!   In addition, we will also have Gelatin plates to create original prints.  All proceeds for the class go to WAL minus the cost of supplies.  Bring your own watercolors and colored pencils etc. for embellishing your work.  We will have some  watercolors to share plus all the basic printing paints and rice papers

Members Donation fee:  $50.00

Non-Members Donation Fee: $50.00

Supply fee will be collected at the time of the event.

Supply Fee with 8 x 12 organic reusable gelatin plate included:  $32.00

Supply fee is $20.00 if you bring your own gel-plate.

Acrylic paints

Fresh fish – Goytoku Japanese printing process

Papers

5 - Blank Card stock cards and envelopes

1 - Ready cut mat to frame your favorite artwork.

*Wine and Charcuterie style snacks will be served*

Feel free to bring your own tools for embellishments such as colored pencils, markers, liquid inks, stencils, stamps, texture tools and natural leaves,  and flowers for printing on the gel plates.
