Tetyana aleKsenko (Pastels)

Ukrainian-born artist residing in The Woodlands, Texas, Tetyana has always loved drawing and painting, but has spent her adult years doing research and working in a medical field. Several years ago she discovered Unison pastels and could not stop painting after that.

She has studied academic drawing, composition, oil painting, and pastel painting in a prestigious online art school. She is an instructor, an award-winning pastel artist with numerous awards, and a President of the Pastel Society of Southeast Texas whose paintings can be found in private collections across the US and abroad.

Tetyana believes that her mission as an artist is to find unusual aspects of everyday life and add a little more joy and beauty to this world.
