Monday Portrait Group

The TWAL Portrait Special Interest Group is open to everyone interested in painting, drawing, and creating portraits from a live model.  We meet every week beginning at 9:30 AM and finish up at 12:30 PM.  This is not a class, but an opportunity to create and practice portraiture in a low-stress setting with other artists.  We have a live model in the same pose for the entire morning.  Some models may be in costume.  

You are encouraged to bring whatever materials/media you prefer.  We can provide some easels and tables if needed.  We only ask that no Volatile Organic Chemicals are used, only odorless solvents, please.

We also ask for a fee of $15 per session to cover the expense of the model.  Any extra is kept for days when there are not enough artists to cover the cost.
