Mini Workshop with Carolina Dalmas
Painting Contemporary Flowers with Acrylics
Saturday, September 6th from 2:15pm to 5:00pm

“Using the same tool will lead us to the same results.”
In this workshop, we’ll break that cycle by exploring new ways to apply paint and express yourself through brushwork. You’ll learn how to control and vary brush types, paint consistency, and pressure to create dynamic textures and marks. Taught using both acrylics and oils, this session is ideal for artists who want to push their boundaries, refine their technique, and infuse their work with energy and emotion.
Contemporary Realism
Carolina Dalmas
I was born in 1969 in a small town in Argentina and grew up surrounded by nature and freedom, traits that have shaped my art. A curious mind, from a young age I always showed eagerness to learn and an affinity to the visual arts. My art portrays the texture and colors of the vivid world around us. You can easily distinguish my paintings due to my use of vibrant and dynamic colors, and contemporary realism style.
I am a member and active participant in different art societies and leagues, either running or participating in shows and exhibits.
My art has been juried and awarded into local, International and National shows like the International Pastel Society IAPS 34th Juried Exhibition, “Art of the Pastel” National Juried Show, and Richerson N75 International (Small Works and Florals).
Giving back to the community brings joy and fulfillment to all of us. I like to contribute to my community by helping worthy causes through my art. I am always eager to donate my time and artwork for good causes like Habitat for Humanity, Interfaith, The Woodlands Art League, Kilpatrick Elementary School, Project Pink and Hope under the Stars, Star of Hope, St Jude’s Hospital and Casa Argentina of Houston.
