The TWAL Plein Air Group is changing things up a bit, with input from our members.
We will try to alternate between Thursdays and Fridays with at least one monthly offering in The Woodlands to accommodate as many schedules as possible. A calendar is provided to minimize the number of texts and phone calls facilitators have to field for each outing.
Our first location will be the TWAL studio for a Still Life (or if it is nice, painting outside at our location). This will give us the opportunity to meet, discuss these changes and consider other locations our group might enjoy.
Feb 13 4:30 PM – 7:30 Sunset/Nocturne Meet at the little boat shed at Hughes Landing
Feb 28 9:30 AM – 12:30 Sally Bowers backyard - trees, flowers, waterfall options (possibly an old car if it is not raining)
Mar 13 9:30AM – 12:30 Memory Park in Montgomery, TX Meet at entrance.
Mar 28 Details to follow - Lakeside in Panther Creek (member’s home) - OR - Still Life at TWAL if it is raining.
Apr 11 9:30AM – 12:30 TWAL booth at Waterway Art Festival
Apr 25 9:30AM – 12:30 Mercer Arboretum, meet at entrance.
May 16 4:30PM – 7:30 Sunset/Nocturne at Waterway. Meet behind the Community Center. Note: there will be a reception for displaying Artists at the Community Center from 6PM-8PM, This is an opportunity to pop in and support your fellow artists.
May 23 9:30AM – 12:30 Waterway at Landry’s, lots of water and structure opportunities, OR TWAL for Still Life if it is raining.
