Abstract Painting for Beginners - with Krista Oberg

ABSTRACT ART FOR BEGINNERS

Have you ever looked at a piece of abstract art and said, "I can do that!" YOU can and it's tons of fun!!  Come have fun and relax with this class all about creating a piece that's uniquely yours! This workshop is about joy, intuition and art expressionism! 

Local abstract artist Krista Oberg will show you the basics of abstract art and help you design your own masterpiece.

Students will learn about color, composition and a variety of mixed media layering techniques. 

SUPPLY LIST -- 1-2 canvas or wood panel, size up to you. A variety of acrylic paint colors -- 3-4  your choice (Hobby lobby carries a basic line that will work. ) 1 tube white acrylic paint as well for mixing. Bring your favorite paint brush, preferably medium 2-3 inch flat edge. All other supplies provided.
