Have you even wondered how to produce realistic colored pencil drawings, but were afraid to ask? This informative demonstration will help to answer your questions and introduce you to a multitude of techniques to achieve life like renderings and will include some fun hands-on activities.

Even if you are already familiar with this medium or are a “newbie” to it, this event is for you - since colored pencils can be such powerful tools of creativity! Having a broader understanding of the materials and techniques will help you to fully explore the media and your own creativity.

Jilan Chew is an international artist currently living in Spring, Texas. She has worked as a teacher, illustrator, muralist and fine artist for over 30 years. Her work has been shown in Los Angeles, New York, Ohio and Israel.
