General Meeting - September 2021

WAL members and non-members are invited to join us at our general meeting on September 11th. Participants will get the latest news on upcoming classes and events and enjoy a demonstration by Kathy Fediw titled "Urban Sketching".

Urban sketching is a fast, easy, and fun way to capture the world around you.  Kathy Fediw will show us the different materials that can be used for urban sketching, including her home-made easel, mini-watercolor set, mixed media supplies, waterbrushes and different types of papers.  Then Kathy will do a quick sketch or two to show us how to quickly capture a scene from ordinary life. 

Kathy paints landscapes, florals and other subjects in the colorist tradition.  She enjoys painting en plein air as well as in her studio, and does demonstrations and workshops to share her love of art.

How to get to the WAL Studio at 701 Sawdust Rd.

You will see a strip center to the right of Hobby Lobby. To the left of the strip center is a blue and silver building. To the left of that building, you will see a silver two-story building. WAL is in the silver building, and our entrance is on the right side of the building.
