Plein Air Oil Painting with Julie Sanderson

Tuition: All classes are payable in advance for the six week session. Membership required cost is $60 per three hour session for a total of $240 for 4 week program. 

Class size is limited to 10 students.

This class is designed to help the beginner develop their plein air oil painting skills. No oil painting or plein air experience is needed. The class will be a fun and relaxed format to increase your plein air skills. We will start with supplies needed and then move to color mixing with a limited palette, sketching, toning for under painting, drawing, composition and paint application/mark making.  Each class will have a discussion of a well known plein air artist to expose the group to different styles of painting  The majority of the class time will be spent outdoors painting by the art center.
