Artist Currently Exhibiting: If you have Fall/Winter themed art or colors currently hanging at South County Community Center and would like to exhibit those pieces in the new exhibit, please register them as new art and they can stay.
You should see three pdfs below, download them now, or go to the INFO AND FORMS Tab and download the three files for this exhibit.
The Artist Guidelines will give you the times and dates of the exhibit change out and reception, and detailed information about this upcoming exhibit. Please download and READ the Artist Guidelines and Artist Registration form carefully before registering to exhibit at the South County Community Center. We have made some changes, the main change is a $10 per piece hanging fee for the exhibit, and some size limitations. The Guidelines should answer any questions you may have.
Thanks to all of you who volunteer for WAL! We need you now! We must have volunteers to help us with take-in and hanging of art on Friday morning, September 24. We cannot do it without you!
A couple of guys to help with the larger / heavier art would be great. We need artists to work in teams to figure out arrangements of art, then hang. There's other things to help with too. So please volunteer if you can on Friday, September 24 at the Community Center. Please email me if you can volunteer and/or if you have any questions about this exhibit. Thanks! FALL MARKET STREET SHOW
CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
The 2021 Fall Market Street Art Show is just around the corner and we have been confirmed for a large, multiple tent set up. Now we need volunteers to man it - from morning set-up to take down...and everything in-betwen.
If you want to help WAL... and each other... be visible in our community, please check out the positions and sign up as soon as possible. From bringing panels for the art display, to demonstrating your skills, showing your work, making a glorious mess with kids, to just relaxing in the tent...there is something for everyone to do.
The art shown is for display only but you may bring cards to give to attendees. Because we do not pay for our booth we cannot sell from it.
We especially encourage those who wish to give classes or workshops, or who work with other non-profits to take advantage of this opportunity.
