Acrylic Painting with Lauren Combs
Acrylic Painting with Lauren Combs
In this 4-session class we will cover characteristics of acrylics and basic techniques, types of brushes and substrates color mixing and color palettes, while building a landscape in layers. The class will give participants a foundation to build their art practice and develop their own painting styles.
While painting a landscape, participants will learn about the properties of acrylics, the tools (brushes, knives, alternative applicators), basic color mixing, and techniques.
They will begin by underpainting the canvas, and end with glazing the final product.
