   Exploring Great Art Through Drawing & Painting II

Students will discover the styles of great artists from Monet to Kandinsky and have the opportunity to explore and practice these different styles in their own works. 

Class instruction will include composition and the Elements of Art which include the use of line, color, shape, form, texture, space and value along with the Principles of Art like harmony, balance, emphasis, rhythm and movement. A variety of subject matter will be used as the focus of their artworks.  This class is for those who like to paint!! Ages 9-14 years old

Instructor: Susan Manbeian, Retired Public School Art Teacher of 30 years. Awarded Art Educator of The Year for 2010 for the State of California.

Small classes:  Individual projects with materials provided                    

Student fee: $200 for TWAL Members and non-members
