SUMMER SAMPLER

Try something new as we explore different media and subject matter while emphasizing creativity and experimentation. Experience drawing, painting, collage, printmaking and sculpture in a one week Art course. Appropriate for ages 7-14. Adjustments will be made for different age groups.

Art Adventure Lab I June 15-19 (9am-12 noon) (Mon, June 15, 2026)

June 15-19 Mornings

Art Adventure Lab is a hands-on creative camp designed for young artists in 2nd–4th grade to build confidence while learning foundational art skills. Throughout the week, students explore line, pattern, stenciling, collage, texture, and painting through guided discussions and engaging projects.

Each day introduces a new artistic concept and allows students to
experiment with materials while developing technique and creative
independence. Highlights include a stencil self-portrait where
students design and “dress” a paper doll version of themselves, and a
textured bird painting that teaches brushwork and layering.

By the end of the week, campers combine all learned skills into a
final mixed-media masterpiece. Students leave not only with finished
artwork, but with stronger artistic confidence and a deeper
understanding of how art is built from simple elements.

Ages: 7-11

Summer Art Trek June 29th-July3rd, 2026

Travel through time and around the world as we look, learn, and discover interesting works of Art. Students will discover and discuss the stories behind historical works of art and create their own unique pieces based on their personal experiences and observations. This workshop involves drawing, painting, sculpting and storytelling. The class is designed to develop the student’s imaginative skills and practical skills in the art of illustration using one’s personal experiences as a springboard to taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary!

No experience necessary……. just bring a love of Art!

Let Your Creativity Bloom! July 6th-10th

This workshop is all about using your creative imagination. We will discover how to develop the imagination and put it in to an art form using a variety of artistic mediums. The focus will be on originality and how that originality can be expressed through drawing, painting, pastel, ink, wood, cardboard, collage, plaster and paper . The class is designed to develop not only the student’s imaginative skills but practical hands on skills through a variety of projects that they may take home at the end of the week. Students will have the opportunity to use their personal experiences as a springboard to taking an ordinary idea and making it extraordinary!
